Refund Policy

How to request a purchase refund, and how it differs from a return of task credits.

Effective date:

1. Scope and protected rights

This policy applies to ImageWave credit-pack purchases made after this version is published. It does not reduce mandatory consumer rights. Where Paddle is the seller, Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy also apply. Statutory rights or rights provided by Paddle that are more protective take priority over the voluntary limits below.

2. Our voluntary refund window

You may request a refund within 30 minutes after a successful top-up only if all credits from that purchase remain unused. This includes any bonus credits delivered with that purchase. Credits already used or reserved for a processing task do not qualify as unused. Separate free welcome credits are not part of that purchase.

Under this voluntary refund policy, refunds are not available after 30 minutes or once any credits from that purchase have been used or reserved. We verify the payment time and credit records. Mandatory rights under applicable law and any more protective Paddle rights remain unaffected.

3. Duplicate charges and service problems

Contact us promptly about duplicate charges, a completed payment with missing credits, or persistent technical problems that prevent delivery of the purchased service. Include the transaction details so we can investigate. These cases are reviewed on their facts and under applicable law and payment-provider terms, rather than being rejected solely because the voluntary usage window has ended.

4. How to request a refund

Email ImageWave using the contact address below. Include the account identifier or email used for the purchase, order or transaction number, payment date and the reason for the request. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, private keys or unrelated customer files.

For a Paddle purchase, you can also use the support link in your receipt or visit paddle.net to request a refund. The payment provider may need information to identify the transaction.

5. Approved refunds

An approved monetary refund is returned through the payment provider to the original payment method where possible. Processing and bank posting times depend on the provider and applicable rules. A request is not a confirmation that a refund has been approved or completed.

Remaining unused credits associated with a refunded purchase may be withdrawn to avoid duplicate benefits. Financial and transaction audit records remain. Removing project history or closing an account does not create a new refund entitlement or reissue welcome credits.

6. Task-credit returns and cancellations

When image processing fails or is cancelled without a downloadable result, the associated reserved credits are returned after processing has stopped and the outcome is confirmed. This is a return of service credits, not a cash refund of the pack purchase. A closed browser or a waiting timeout alone does not confirm that processing stopped.

Current credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. If you do not want another pack, do not make another purchase; there is no recurring plan to cancel under the current offering.
